What is Sitemap -
Sitemap is just list of webpages on your website or blog, sitemap consist of number of files related to pages and blog posts on website.
Sitemap helps any Blogger for Crawling and Indexing his website on any search engine and it is powerful tool in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Sitemap is like hierarchy and structured list.
There are two types of Sitemap-
1.HTML Sitemap
2.XML Sitemap.
Steps to attach .xml sitemap-
1. Open .xml generator tool available online.
2. Copy your blog URL and paste it on .xml tool
3. After submitting URL, it provides code, which we've to copy it.
4.Then go to blogger and Open Setting > search preference > custom robot.txt
5. Then enable custom robot.txt content.
6.Paste the code below and save changes.
It will work for your website to attach sitemap.
It helps for Crawling and Indexing for your Website or Blog and it gives better results on web search.
