Places to visit in Hyderabad… is my second travel blog since I started blogging, and here I'm going to write about travel spots, famous places which I visited in Hyderabad City.
In June 2017, I got an opportunity to visit Hyderabad city with my family while we were on tourism in southern India. It was great experience while touring Hyderabad city, we had three days plan for tourism and we had to visit lot of places in these three days so, we started with full enthusiasm and energy.
According to our plan, for day 1 we decided to visit Salar Jung Museum, Charminar, Birla Mandir, Birla Planetarium and Hussain Sagar Lake.
It was established in year 1951. This museum have collection of rare art objects from all over world and have 46000 art objects, over 8000 manuscripts and over 60000 printed books. There are more than 38 galleries in the museum including Indian art, Middle east art, Persian art, Nepalese art, Japanese art and Western art. With this a special gallery 'The Founders Gallery' is there which is devoted to Salar Jung Family.
Indian art gallery consist of Modern Paintings, Bronzes, Textiles, Ivory, Arms and Armor, Wood caving. While Middle East gallery includes objects from Egypt, Syria, and Persia such as Carpets, Paper, Glass and Metal ware. And European gallery includes objects such as Oil Paintings, Ivory, furniture and clocks. Museum has wide range of rare books and rich library.

Tickets : ₹20 for Indians and ₹500 for foreign visitors (per head)

In heart of Hyderabad city, this historical monument is located and this was built in 1591.
Charminar have four minarets of height 48.7 meters. It was built by fifth ruler of Qutb Shahi Dynasty, Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah.
The structure of Charminar is made up of granite, limestone, mortar and marble.
This structure is listed as world heritage site by UNESCO in 2010.
Time : 9.30 AM to 5.30 PM (all days of the week)
Tickets : ₹5 for Indians and ₹100 for foreign visitors (Per head)
Birla mandir is Lord Venkateshwara Temple of white marble located on hill. There are many Birla Mandirs in India and Hyderabad Birla Mandir is one of them. This Temple is one of the famous attraction of visitors.
Time : 7 AM - 12 PM and 3 PM - 9 PM
Ticket : Free entry
It was inaugurated in 1985 and it is one of the Modern Planetarium in India. It is one of the main attraction in Hyderabad so, one should visit it.
Time : 11.30 AM - 8 PM
Ticket : ₹100 (per head)
It is the one of the largest artificial lake in Asia built in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb shah. At middle of lake, there is 16 m high Lord Buddha Statue which made up of white granite. Lighting on statue is main attraction at night. Boating facility is also available there like speed boats, motor boats, pedal operated boats, etc.

On second day we decided to spend full day at Ramoji Film City which is 32 Km away from Hyderabad city. Anyone can reach there by bus/Rickshaw within half an hour.
Ramoji Film City was built by Ramoji Rao (Film Producer) in 1996 and is world's largest Film City which is certified by Guinness Book of World Record. It is one of the main attraction in Hyderabad which includes shooting locations, Amusement parks, Entertainment shows and lot of activities in over 1666 acres of area.

On third day we visited Nehru Zoological Park early in the morning. Zoo is located 16 Km away from Hyderabad city.
It is one of the largest zoo in India spread over 380 acres of area.
The Zoo authority also opened the Lion and Tiger Safari Park and Fish Aquarium inside the Zoo.
Time : 8 AM - 5 PM
Tickets : ₹50 per Adult
₹30 per Child (3 to 10 years)
And at evening, we started our return journey, this is how we enjoyed Hyderabad Tour....
